Zbrush & Sculpting
Furthering skills is no doubt important both personally and professionally, so why not create a mystical dragon to hone onto those skills? Many of the games that I have worked on have little need for a creature or monster model. This dragon was not only a fun subject, but it would help develop skills that would prove to be useful in my profession.
When creating this project, I wanted to focus on specific goals and skills that I could take away once completed. Those goals were to learn basics of the Zbrush program and develop specific skills related to Z spheres, dynamesh and completing texture painting, in program. While working on this project I became comfortable using sub objects in Zbrush, and found that this project proved to be quite useful for learning extra program skills and developing a better eye for creature creation.
